Studio背景：
据国内权威市场调研机构的报告称，中国有约1.5亿只宠物狗，养宠人群增长比例也在逐年增加。上海养宠人群是全国养宠人群的前四位，占全国养宠人群的9.08%，其中有61.74%的人养狗。定位到场地逸仙高架桥下空间，中山北一路（甘河路和汶水东路段）周围，学校、居民区分布较为密集，且多为老居民小区，人口密度极大，周围居民养狗人士众多。如何在高架桥灰空间设计一个满足主人和宠物狗共同需求的空间、组织好高架桥下的流线将是该studio的议题。

Studio目的：
The studio will explore the parallels between demand and constructing the landforms and circulation that positively impact society, as well as understanding its inherent opportunities and limitations in specific site condition. A particular focus will be put on imaginative ideas, systematic thinking, projects logics, and construction methodologies.

Studio设计方法：
1. Background and Problem Statement
Data collection,report collection, documents reading: objectively, accurately and authentically understand dogs’ survival status and habits.
2. Inventory and Analysis
Within the background of dogs’ issues, analysis the specific problem of the site.Emphasize multivariate relationships occurring in the borderland.
3. Conceptual Design
Design interactions, experiences, processes and strategies based on the pre-phased analysis.
4. Design Expression
Use mapping,collage, toolbox, plan, model, etc. to express design in landscape method.

Studio成果:
The goal for the projects is to first push students generating mimicking methods and design thinking for problem solving , and then prepare students for the transition from the academy to practice by developing and constructing innovative solutions that can be tested and evaluated.
