Studio背景：
广州南沙位于广州最南端的南沙区处于地理位置上的低处，三江出海口，同时具有无限的发展潜力，在珠三角的开发从城市个体逐渐发展到河湾中心的过程中，粤港澳大湾区作为地理几何中心也逐渐吸取了人们的注意。在2015年设立南沙自贸区后，南沙以高水平的国际化城市和国际航运、贸易、金融中心为定位，计划建设成为广州的“城市副中心“。
在数年的发展过程中，地铁、公路通行，开发商入驻，写字楼住宅建起，低洼的村庄与农田逐渐被改写，村庄被城市包围，南沙区也开始引来新的居民。
这片新旧建筑混杂的地区显然面临着未来的巨变，规划者应如何应对场地现有的环境，利用场地特色，将南沙打造成一个独一无二的城市海湾？景观设计师应该如何平衡生态环境，地区文化，城市发展及经济发展的多重责任，在城市快速建设的背景下思考可持续的发展出路呢？
Studio大纲：
课程目的: 了解不同国家背景下的水管理系统建设，在对比中学习，进一步结合场地问题，在具体的场地上提供切实可行的设计策略。
应对的问题：了解中国海绵城市发展的症结，思考如何提供适应城市语境的设计策略。
基地信息：
南沙蕉门河及沿岸

学生需要从区域尺度开始研究，了解城市发展沿革rural to urban transformation和城市用地land use分布，对蕉门河沿岸river space到周边城市空间urban fabric，居住区residential area，原住民区human settlements/informal settlements以及工业区industrial area。整合收集的场地信息，从个人兴趣点出发进行深入分析得出结论，提出自己对既有规划的理解和批判，在此基础上形成自己的叙事narrative。
