Studio背景
发展中国家正在飞速城市化的同时，城市贫困人口也在逐渐攀升。据联合国统计，当今世界上24%的人口、也就是近十亿人口，居住在贫民窟或可谓没有正常居住环境的临时住所内，其中80%这样的临时住所分布在东南亚、撒哈拉以南的非洲以及中南美洲。
非正式城市，是相对于大多数我们习以为常的正式的、体面的、精致的城市形象和城市生活而言，破败不堪的城市角落、没有清洁水源、电力和安全能源等基本生活所需、灾害来临时毫无避险能力的街道，这些是城市化的另外一面。STUDIO 将重新思考这些非正式城市化的场景、街区和使用者，并建立新的平衡。
Studio 内容
课程目的:
理解发展中国家的城市贫民与贫民窟问题，选择感兴趣的城市街区作为研究对象。从灾害防御（Flooding Resilience）、水源与卫生条件（Sanitation & Hygiene）、提高收入（Poverty & Income）等议题出发，重新设计建筑肌理、街道以及公共空间。
[Phase 1] Research & Analysis 研究与调研阶段
从世界范围内了解城市贫困与贫民窟问题，再逐步缩小到场地所在地历史和贫民窟形成的原因研究；现状研究方向确定。
[Phase 2] Urban Design 城市设计阶段
根据第一阶段大量获取的资料，针对场地周边CONTEXT 理解与分析提出有针对性的场地策略
[Phase 3] Detail Design深化设计阶段
针对建筑肌理、街道界面、公共空间不同属性，进行深化设计
