此次studio坐落在RAC广州中心东部2公里，华南农业大学北部的苓村机场。岑村机场，位于岑村西侧，民国34年（1945年），由日军修建使用，日军投降后，由国民党空军接管使用，广州解放后，由广东军区接管，后交广州空军管理合用，作为训练机场。2016年，由于金融城等区域发展限高问题，广州市政府与空军协调机场搬迁。场地所表现出来的问题包含：城中村基础设施和活动的匮乏、机场闲置嫌弃地、历史（机场，周总理视察纪念林、北部火炉山森林公园生态退化、场地可达性与市中心的阻隔(机场与高速路)、各种城市功能的再组合等。
